Aprende a buscar personas mediante Twitter
Las redes sociales, como Twitter, han sido de gran ayuda en estos momentos de crisis, ya que se han convertido en una importante fuente de información inmediata, que nos permite minuto a minuto entregar y recibir datos. Pero ¿Sabes como hacer el tuyo? Si la respuesta es no, ¡continúa leyendo!.
Twitter es una red social que puedes utilizar como herramienta para ayudar en estos momentos, además de conocer datos de tus seres queridos con quien por razones de fuerza mayor aún no te has comunicado. Por éste motivo te enseñamos como hacer el tuyo y así mantenerte informado y conectado con los chilenos.
Cómo crear tu cuenta:
Paso 1: Ingresa a Twitter http://twitter.com/ y pincha en “Sign up now”.
Paso 2: Luego ingresa tus datos: Nombre, nombre de usuario, tu mail y el código de seguridad que quieras designar a tu cuenta y luego presiona “Create my account”. Deberás activar tu cuenta en el mail de inscripción en la cuenta y podrás ingresar perfectamente a tu Twitter.
Paso 3: Una vez activada la cuenta puedes cambiar el idioma de tu Twitter al dirigirte a “Settings” (cuarta alternativa en el costado superior derecho) y colocar “Spanish-Español” luego “Save” guardando todos los cambios realizados.
Paso 4: ¡Estamos listos entonces! ya que ahora solo debes buscar las cuentas creadas para ayudar y apoyar a los damnificados del terremoto. Para ello debes presionar en “Buscar Gente” y colocar la palabra, “terremoto en Chile”, “ayuda a damnificados”, “damnificados Chile”o palabras relacionadas al siniestro que azotó a nuestro país la madrugada del sábado y encontrarás información variada que puede ser de tu utilidad. También puedes buscar distintos medios de comunicación (televisión, radio y prensa escrita) que constantemente están publicando los avances han ido experimentando las regiones afectadas. Para finalizar debes presionar “seguir”. De éste mismo modo puedes unirte al Twitter “Unidos por Chile” que Zona Latina y Vía X crearon para ayudar a las víctimas de la catástrofe que azotó al centro sur del país.
Paso 5: Para poder “Tuitear” debes dirigirte a “¿Que pasa?” Y escribir en un mensaje de no más de 140 caracteres todo aquello que desees publicar, en éste caso como estás buscando a una persona en particular puedes dejar un mensaje con su nombre completo, la ciudad en la cual se encontraba y un teléfono o mail de contacto, de modo que así hagas pública tu inquietud. También puedes compartir una fotografía, a través de TwitPic ( herramienta que permite a los usuarios publicar imágenes en Twitter) para que así tus contactos puedan reconocer a la persona que buscas. Dicho mensaje deberás actualizarlo cada cierto tiempo, por que son tantos los comentarios que se realizan por segundo que es conveniente que luego de algunas horas vuelvas a “tuitear”, para que la información no quede en el olvido.
Bajo la atmósfera de solidaridad, además quienes quieran hacer donaciones o ayudar de manera voluntaria podrá organizar grupos de apoyo, a través de Twitter y así lograr unir las fuerzas de los chilenos.
¿Cómo tuitear en Unidos por Chile?
¡Muy sencillo! Una vez que “sigues” el Twitter creado por Zona Latina junto a Vía X “Unidos por Chile” debes colocar @unidosporchile y luego escribir tu mensaje. Por ejemplo: “@unidosporchile Busco a Javiera Montalva que se encuentra en Pichilemu. Cualquier información llamar a 12345678 o al mail ejemplo@cuentadecorreo.cl”. Además, como mencionamos anteriormente, podrás publicar una fotografía a través de Twipic.
Si quieres reunir voluntarios por la causa o publicar un evento en beneficio de los afectados del terremoto puedes hacerlo también, comentando de la misma forma que te indicamos antes, pero cambiando el contenido. ¡Así de sencillo!

When is it time to purchase a new computer?. . Some people I have talked to told me its good to purchase a new computer every 2 years however that could be expensive for most people. I always thought every 4-5 years.. . What is your opinion on this?. . The computer I own is 11 months old?.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?

I recently did a system restore on my computer and have yet to reload my antivirus software. Apparently somewhere along the process something called Antivi took over my computer and I can’t do anything, not even get to my task manager to end the program. Any advice?.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
