Ricardo Arjona expresó su interés por ofrecer show postergado por terremoto
El artista dio a conocer sus ganas por llevar a cabo el espectáculo que debido a la delicada situación que enfrentamos como país tuvo que postergar, de modo de entregar ayuda a los damnificados por el siniestro. ¡Entérate de más detalles en la siguiente nota!
Arjona, dio a conocer ayer a través de un comunicado de prensa dirigido a los medios de comunicación chilenos, su disposición para efectuar el concierto que fue postergado por el terremoto que azotó nuestro país el fin de semana recién pasado. Dicho evento estaba programado para el sábado en el Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida.
El talentoso cantante, en el minuto del suceso se encontraba alojando en Santiago luego de ofrecer un espectacular show en Festival de Viña del Mar, sin imaginar la tragedia que pocas horas después ocurriría. “Nadie sospechaba entre aplausos y emociones que a pocas horas, una tragedia de gran magnitud apagaría la euforia en nuestros interiores recién llegados a Santiago. Lo demás, es historia para los que nos toco vivir el terremoto y sentir al mismo tiempo la solidaridad del pueblo Chileno para los forasteros menos acostumbrados a estas lides” comentó.
“Es sabido que el día 27 de febrero justo el día de la tragedia, estaba programado un concierto en el Estadio La Florida con más de 15,000 personas que ya tenían su boleto en la mano. Mi posición en este momento es hacer el concierto a la brevedad posible siempre que se nos den los permisos correspondientes y se den las condiciones para poder realizarlo. Al mismo tiempo este concierto se convertiría en una posibilidad de ponerlo a disposición de las necesidades de los pueblos Chilenos más afectados para aportar con lo nuestro lo que sea necesario para este País en un momento difícil. Sabemos de las dificultades de realizar este concierto en estos momentos y dejo entonces mi entera disposición para realizarlo el día que me indiquen… Manifiesto mi dolor y mi pésame a los familiares de las víctimas y me solidarizo con el pueblo Chileno que seguramente superara a la brevedad este pasaje de su historia” concluyó el solidario artista.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
