Shakira se une a la nueva versión de “Gracias a la Vida”
La artista colombiana sumó su bella voz a la de artistas como Juanes, Miguel Bosé y Laura Pausini entre otros, en la canción cuyo fin es apoyar a los damnificados por el terremoto en nuestro país. ¡Todos los pormenores en la siguiente nota!
La talentosa artista colombiana fue la guinda de la torta o el mejor broche de oro que la nueva versión de Gracias a la Vida, de la reconocida chilena Violeta Parra, pudo tener. Ya que como sabemos la clásica canción fue grabada por una serie de músicos con el fin de generar ganancias que sumaran un aporte en beneficio de los damnificados por el terremoto ocurrido en Chile el 27 de febrero pasado.
La iniciativa propulsada por Beto Cuevas, ex integrante de la banda La Ley, reunió las voces de reconocidos cantantes como Juan Luis Guerra, Alejandro Sanz, Laura Pausini, Fher de Maná, Michael Bublé, Juanes, Miguel Bosé y Shakira quien envió su parte de la canción desde Nassau en Bahamas.
Por último cabe señalar que el tema pretende ser lanzado antes del 12 de Mayo y contará además con un videoclip. En cuanto a las ganancias serán entregadas a la organización Habitat for Humani, entidad que trabaja en la reconstrucción de viviendas para familias, de modo de ayudar a nuestros compatriotas damnificados.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

What i do not understood is definitely how you’re not truly a lot more well-liked than you might be right now. You are very educated. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!

I have a blogger blog with a custom domain set up. I want to export it to a hosted wordpress blog. Some of my posts have good ranks with google and I don’t want to mess that up. My new WP blog will be the .net of my custom blogger domain so the permalinks will technically change if I import the old posts…any ideas how to get around this?.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
